Five Decades of Klang Valley Tailoring
Two Tailor is led by James Wong, a third-generation master tailor who trained on Savile Row before returning home to Petaling Jaya. Alongside senior cutter Ahmad Faisal and finishing specialist Carmen Lee, the team has built a reputation across the Klang Valley for exceptional craftsmanship and personal service.
Every garment that leaves our atelier is crafted entirely on-site, never outsourced. We believe in the value of personal attention, honest advice, and the transformative power of clothing that truly fits.

From Measurement to Final Fitting
Consultation
A complimentary meeting to discuss your style, needs, and select fabrics. We'll take preliminary measurements and answer all your questions.
30 minutes
Pattern & Cut
James drafts a unique paper pattern for your body, then cuts the fabric by hand. This is the foundation of true bespoke tailoring.
1-2 weeks
First Fitting
Try on the basted garment. We'll adjust the fit, discuss details, and ensure everything is progressing to your satisfaction.
Week 2-3
Completion
Final fitting and any last adjustments. Your garment is pressed, finished, and ready to wear with confidence.

What is the difference between heritage bespoke and made-to-measure?
Heritage bespoke starts with a fresh pattern drafted by hand for your unique build, using proprietary cutting techniques refined over thousands of PJ fittings. Made-to-measure only tweaks a stock block. Two Tailor has built every suit the bespoke way since 1975, with hand-finished seams and cloth chosen for the Malaysian climate.
How long does a bespoke suit take to complete?
A typical commission takes 6 to 8 weeks from the first sit-down through pattern drafting, basted fitting, and forward fitting, with final hand-finishing completed in our SS2 studio. Grooms preparing for weddings around Damansara or One World Hotel should book at least four months ahead so fittings are never rushed.
What happens at the first consultation?
Your first 30-minute consultation is complimentary and entirely unhurried. We discuss how you intend to wear the garment, walk you through lightweight fabrics from Ermenegildo Zegna, Vitale Barberis Canonico, and Holland & Sherry, and take preliminary measurements. You are welcome to leave with notes and think it over.
How long do alterations usually take?
Most alterations leave the shop within 1 to 2 weeks. For last-minute weddings, dinners at Paradigm Mall, or urgent boardroom fittings, Sarah can quote a faster turnaround at your consultation. Every bespoke suit from Two Tailor also comes with a lifetime promise on minor seam adjustments.
Do you dress grooms and groomsmen for weddings?
Yes. We regularly outfit grooms and their parties for weddings at Le Méridien PJ, New World Petaling Jaya, and other Klang Valley venues. Azman helps coordinate styling across Western suits and traditional Baju Melayu, while Jacky oversees every cut so the whole party arrives looking cohesive.
